The closest beach is Trani Ammouda -- it will
take you like 10-15 minutes by walking, and less than 5 minutes by car. It's
very pretty and also lengthy, there are hotels and set up spaces with bars and
all to the right, and more cliffs and spacious areas to the left. Also, Nikiti,
which is the closest town, has a beautiful seafront, with lots of restaurants.
Nikiti is 10-15 minutes by car from the villa. Closest big supermarket is also
in Nikiti -- Lidl, and
others.
But you can also buy groceries and go out near the villa in Agios Nikolaos village.
There are several shops, but be careful with their working hours since most
take their afternoons off.
Personal favorite tavern in Agios Nikolaos is Makis. There is this main
square in the village with a bunch of cafes and tavern, such a wonderful
atmosphere, I'd recommend checking it in the evening as well, so lovely!
If you are going to rent a car, there are several places you
can also check out like Ormos Panagias --
there are some good beach bars and lounges. Ormos Panagias,
it’s your go to for fresh seafood and restaurants???? There is a fish market
with fresh fish in the morning, it might be kind of pricey though.
Another destination to get to with a car is Vourvourou –
lot’s of wild secluded beaches if you’re looking for some personal space.
On the way to Vourvourou there is a fountain of drinkable spring water. We
take water from there from time to time. It's a very nice and also interesting
experience! Just take a bottle with you to try it out — many locals go there.
It’s also near the road so it’s no trouble to stop by.
If you’re going to be renting a boat, those are some lovely
beaches you can check out sailing around:
Blue
lagoon, a very touristic spot, is usually busy, but still pretty when you
pass it by.
And definitely if you go down for a longer ride you can
check out further islands,
the beaches might be a little more deserted there!

places to go to at the villa. It should be there when you arrive.
